Crittercal Support

Hello Nomad friends.  I love critters.  Most critters are friends of mine.  Used this cute little dog from Pink and Main and a lovely sketch from De Egel for this black and white plus one.

The background is from Pink and Main Good Vibes paper set cut with a Gummiapan stitch square die.  I inked the cut edges.  I found a tiny scrap of red foiled card with a wiggle edge and a scrap of black rose paper.  I cut the black rose paper with a double crazy stitch die.  I cut two hearts and stamped them with a Stampendous Kitty sentiment

Little paws......... BIG warm heart

Squuueeeeeee!  So cute, and the Pink and Main Hot Dog stamp.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you have had a joyful and lovely day.  Hugz

Go Bravely

Hello Nomad friends.  Me again with a second UFO finished!!   So good to get these off my desk.   This is a confirmation card I was working on.  Another one for the boys.

I used a lot of scraps for this one.  The blue piece wasn't quite wide enough for my slimline base but I found another skinny piece of silver patterned card which I cut strategically to give me the two thin strips and also the small pieces above and below the boy.  I embossed the blue piece with sizzix travel words folder.  The boy is stamped on a piece of tea box and die cut with a matching die and I raided the black scraps for the two sentiments, both dies from Papirdesigns.

Easter Bunny

Hello Nomad friends.  It's been a lovely day today with sunshine and warm temps.  I was out planting some seeds in pots and wobbling around in the garden admiring the crocus, which today were hosting bees!!   That's early, and I hope they got home safe, cos the fog rolled in this evening.  It's chilly out there and very Hounds of the Baskerville!!!!   Anyway, let's craft!!  I've had a couple of UFO's on the desk and finally got them to work this evening.

I made a layered slimline base using Lexi Home from Home rose papers and some stitchy frilly dies.  Then it all came to a halt until I remembered these egg dies from Funky Fossil.  I cut the fancy layer from gold mirror card and coloured the eggs behind in pastel shades.  Then I cut out this bunny and flower wreathe from P13 Forest Tea Party papers.  Gotta love a cute bunny.   I seem to be lacking easter sentiments but found this Pink and Main Have a Beautiful Day stamp that seemed perfect.

Hope you have had a beautiful day.  Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Colourful Frida

Hello Nomad friends.  I am over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity again today with some more inspiration for the I Am Woman challenge.  I decided to use the lovely Frida Face from Carmen's Veranda in another quite simple but colourful card.

I stamped Carmen's Veranda Southwest Town in yellow archival on white card.  Rather than block in the background with colour I just outlined the top of the card with blue and the bottom of the card with yellow.  I stamped Frida on a piece of white card with navy ink, then stamped her dress with red ink and fussy cut the two pieces.  I layered them together and added her to the card.  Finally I stamped Art Wings Fly sentiment in various colour inks.  Feeling simply colourful.

Basket of Eggs

Hello Nomad friends.  I am over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity today with a little inspiration for the current I Am Woman challenge. Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda have so many lovely ladies.  Grab your stamps and join us.  We need at least 20 entries to award the prize, and I do so love giving away Linda's stamps LOL.

I've gone for a clean and simple design today, but I had great fun colouring Lost Coast Designs Harvest Angel.  Since Easter is approaching I coloured her in bright spring colours and gave her a basket of pastel colour eggs.  I stamped the background using one of the Pieces of Calligraphy stamps with yellow ink.  I stamped Harvest Angel on a piece of white card, coloured and fussy cut it.  Gotta love a square fussy cut LOL.  Then I stamped part of Carmen's Veranda Queen of Everything stamp to get the Happy Birthday.

Astronomic

Hello Nomad friends.  The second of the month and time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal.  25 lovely ladies joined the February exchange, including one new player, Darlene in Canada.  Welcome Darlene.  It's always nice to get some new friends to exchange with.  We are a very friendly and super talented group, so if you like to send and receive happy mail maybe give us a whirl.  I sent my card to Julia in Massachusetts and this month I used the Celestial option.

I do love a cute astronaut!!  I went with a black basecard and black background panel that I embossed with Memory Box Grand Galaxy embossing folder.  I added a Funky Fossil layered die cut moon cut from silver paper and gold and rose gold mirror card.  I stamped, fussy cut and coloured the cute FF astronuat with distress markers and gel pens, and the sentiment is from another FF set.

Sssplendid Flowers

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the year of the Snake.  I don't have much snakey stash, but I did find this Hero Arts Snake stencil.  I've used it on some panels I cut when I was doing a 'poloroid' project.

There!!  Ssubtley ssnakey!!  I added a big beautiful Hero Arts Paper Layering Swirl Flower which I cut from red card and gold glitter paper.  Love how the sections fold out on this pretty die.  Then I added a little Memory Box chippy birthday sentiment.
